5 movies in 3 days. Can anyone voice a defense for Love Actually? Was the fragmentation anything more than shallow and distracting? Granted, I saw an edited version, but really...

There is no defense (defence? they are British) for that movie. It is crummy and manipulative and shows anything but actual love.
Except for Alan RIckman. He single-handedly saved Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and he comes close to making this one bearable. The man plays a great defense.
But is the showing of nothing but real love the point? Are they trying to make a point?
Also, second on the Alan Rickman thing. He also did much for Galaxyquest.
And Harry Potter... hehe. And I only saw the ending to Love Actually and I was annoyed. My roomies loved it, however.
